KAYLA DEWEES
Kayla Dewees is an actress with seventeen years of experience, having started her career in community theatre, she worked her way into the Theatre and Acting program at Arizona State University in 2016, where she discovered a passion for acting in film. She graduated early with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting and a Minor in Film and Media Production. During her education at Arizona State, she took part in a casting workshop with Deborah Aquila and Tricia Wood that catapulted her acting technique with advanced preparation methods to embody roles authentically.

Her most recent role was in the Mini Series "Steinburg" 2025 as Natalie directed by Douglass K. Davies, as well as the lead character of Sammi in the feature film titled "American Stream" Directed by Chandler Chavez, 2025. The film follows a couple, Sammi and Kyle, as Kyle gives up everything to pursue a career in video game live streaming.
Kayla’s previous work has been in commercials, many different short films, and the theatre. One of favorite theatre roles was in an ASU Main Stage production titled "The flick" by Annie Baker, where Kayla starred as the role of Rose.

While in between roles, Kayla writes and directs documentaries and has modeled in a scope of different projects, including campaigns, visual narratives, and self portraits. While currently pursuing more acting work on film and tv productions, Kayla is ambitious to be cast in a wide range of roles.
